My favorite book as a child was the Little Critter book “Just me and my Dad”. That and the “Alice in Wonderland” that I used to listen to on tape and follow along with the book. I have to say yours is among my soon-to-be 5 year old’s favorites!

My favorite books were The Chronicles of Narnia. I have enjoyed introducing my own children to them now and–BONUS–we can now listen to them via Focus on the Family’s Radio Theatre. Superb acting, dramatic music–great way to pass the time on a long car ride.

My favorite book to read when I was a child was E.B. White’s ‘Stuart Little.’
I just introduced him to my 9 year old this Summer.

“I Am A Bunny” hands down illustrated by Richard Scarry. My first English-language book before we moved to the states. I’ll never forget choosing it at the bookstore with my mother.

It’s probably a three-way tie between The Polar Express, Where The Wild Things Are, and Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs! The New Kid on the Block by Shel Silverstein in also a favorite! Gosh, there are just too many to choose!

It’s soooo hard to pick. As a third grade teacher…there are so many books in my head. I have fond memories of the series The Boxcar Children. I remember my third grade teacher reading it to our class.
