Frieda B. and The Story Barn invite you and the children you love to join us for our Wonder & Wander self-led events in nature. Each themed week we'll provide a different assortment of nature-based activities and crafts to explore at your own pace, in your own unique way. You'll come to the barn, receive all supplies and guidance, and be given a space on our expansive front acreage to serve as your home base. Then you'll have three hours to use as you like, to explore, observe, play, create... and inspire the essential gift of awe and wonder within.
Good to Know:
*Adults and children under 3 are free! We've carefully selected events and activities to inspire the wonder in any child, so all ages 3+ are welcomed to participate. Children under 3 are welcomed to come with you for free.
*One or two days prior to your event, you will receive a video of Frieda B. author and Story Barn owner, Renata Bowers, sharing with you the various nature and craft activities you'll be exploring on the day you've chosen.
*Upon arrival the day of your event, we will provide you and your loved ones with a dedicated outdoor space on our property with two chairs and room to spread a blanket, spaced safely from other guests. You will receive a basket with everything you need to explore and create the day's nature/craft activities. Renata and Paula and Story Barn volunteers will be available to help with any questions, guidance, suggestions, etc. Your children will be invited to either leave their creations at The Story Barn to beautify our property, or take them home to beautify yours. Every child will be given a Story Barn Notebook to keep, in which to capture and commemorate his/her moments of awe and wonder at the barn.
*In the event of rain, we will work with you to reschedule.
