At Frieda B. we're fond of saying: Every child (and adult) has the makings of a great story... many just don't know it.

We literally make it our business to help people know it. And we have more than ten years of experience doing that arm-in-arm with students, staff and families at elementary schools.

Join us at The Story Barn for this free "Story Encourages Story" retreat for PK-5 administrators, to learn more about how we use WRITTEN STORY (ELA) to encourage HUMAN STORY (SEL)... a perfect pairing, academically and socially. What would your school look like if everyone believed in their story? You'd see an increase in authentic autonomy (I matter), community (I belong) and resilience (I can). Because that's what good story does when given the chance. This is the work we do. 

Frieda B. Author Renata Bowers will greet you at this retreat and, along with Co-Founder Paula LaJoie, lead you through the offerings we have for elementary schools to consider: Author Visits, Field Trips, Staff Retreats, ELA/SEL Curriculum, and Professional Development. 

Following the retreat you'll be invited to stay for a tour of the property. You can even carve out a little time to recline in an Adirondack chair by the brook... it does wonders for your well-being. ;)
